Ferroperm Piezoceramics A/S has developed a new piezoelectric material designed especially for the Medical Ultrasound Imaging Industry. Our new material Pz21 will meet your standards for the next generation of Ultrasound Transducers.

In the last couple of years Ferroperm Piezoceramics A/S has kept focusing on the medical industry and the ever increasing demands hereby. Today more than 90% of Ferroperm piezoceramic components to the medical industry are custom made to meet individual requirements.

We find that demands from customers are increasing day by day. Customers want a quality product with constant performance for deliveries over several years. Ferroperm has therefore chosen to develop the new Pz21 material based solely on "conventional" solid-state processes without any liquid sintering additives or high temperature and high-pressure post-treatments. This secures a very stable production process, where mechanical-, dielectric- and piezoelectric performance gets the highest degree of stability from batch to batch.
