Is there a minimum order quantity or amount that I have to pay when I order at Ferroperm Piezoceramics?

What are the prices at higher quantities?

ANSWER:

In Ferroperm we have a strategy to support customers during all stages of business, starting with fundamental research at universities, and ending with high-volume production in dedicated production processes.

In order to support this strategy best possible, we normally do not operate with any minimum order quantity or order amount.

For traditional quotations we usually base all prices on a 100-pcs basis (ex works Denmark with payment via bank transfer).

Parts that we have ready in stock can be delivered immediately at this price. We will also always try to recommend stock parts as alternatives if we do not have the exact specified part, and thereby make it possible to receive parts in short time if necessary.

If we have to start up a new production for an order smaller than 100 pcs, the cost of course becomes relatively higher. For small productions, we therefore add surcharges to the 100 pcs base-price corresponding to the ordered quantity (unless agreed differently). The surcharges are:


• 1-9 pcs: +100%
• 10-49 pcs: +50%
• 50-99 pcs: +20%

For larger orders, the production can be planned in a more efficient way, and the cost can therefore be decreased accordingly. The typical discount scheme is shown below:


• 500 pcs: -5%
• 1.000 pcs: -10%
• 5.000 pcs: -15%
• 10.000 pcs: -17,5%
• 50.000 pcs -20%

Larger orders can be placed as frame-orders over a 12-18 months time frame, with delivery calls that match a running production.

Delivery time for the first shipment from a new production is 5-6 weeks.
