Final Inspection

 

Ferroperm has a quality assurance system for monitoring manufacturing processes and equipment in order to maintain quality and reliability levels.
Ferroperm performs quality control on all batches from the production. The employees in the Quality Assurance Division take samples based on Military Standard MIL-STD-1050 (ISO 2602-1973). The accepted quality limit AQL is 0.65 - Sample plan 2.

We also control whether our standard tolerances are kept. Tighter customer-defined tolerances are controlled on request.

 Standard Tolerances on Dimensions
Diameter of rings or discs: +/- 0.3 mm up to 10 mm diameter and +/- 3% above 10 mm diameter
Length and width of plates: +/- 0.3 mm
Thickness of rings, discs or plates: +/- 3%

 Standard Tolerances for focusing bowls
Radius (R1, R2) +/- 3% or 3 mm whichever is largest
Diameter +/- 3% or 0.3 mm whichever is largest
Thickness uniformity, max. variation of 2.5% or 0.025 mm whichever is largest

 Standard Tolerances on Frequency
+/- 5% to 4 MHz
+/- 10% above 4 MHz
